Hardik Pandya has a huge fan base in India and his lookalike Carmelo Hayes has gone trending in India after the fans spotted him on the WWE NXT show. Hayes is an American professional wrestler and he seemed to have a lot of similar features to Pandya who is one of the fittest cricketers going around in India. The fans could not stop their excitement watching the lookalike of Pandya and images of the star had gone viral on social media.

Pandya meanwhile, hasn’t still recovered completely from back injury issues and is looking to get back into the Indian side once he is deemed fit. The 28-year-old has been playing a vital role in the Indian side over the years as the medium pace all-rounder who can win games with both bat and ball. However, he hasn’t bowled much in recent times, and it affects the balance of the side if he isn’t able to provide those valuable overs as the sixth bowling option.

Pandya last played for India in the T20 World Cup 2021 and apart from some quickfire cameos, he wasn’t much effective as a batter and he will be looked into closely in the upcoming IPL 2022 season. The Gujarat Titans managed to bag the Baroda lad’s services for INR 15 Crores ahead of the mega auction and he was named as the skipper of the franchise. This will be his first assignment as an IPL captain and a lot of eyes will be on his fitness and form.
