Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) express pacer and Australia’s Test skipper Pat Cummins has visited India several times to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and on international tours. The Australian pacer is currently in Mumbai for IPL 2022 and his team is going to play a group stage match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on May 7 (Saturday).

Cummins recently posted a photo of the prominent dish ‘Pav Bhaaji’ of Mumbai on his official Twitter handle account with a few food emojis. The tweet has been widely shared on the micro-blogging site and has garnered thousands of likes and several comments.

As soon as Cummins posted the tweet, one Twitter user asked the express pacer to give his feedback on the dish and he seems to have loved it to the hilt. Cummins also regretted missing having Paav Bhaji in his previous visits to India and also termed the dish ‘delicious’. Wow, I’ve been coming to India for 11 years how had I never tried it before!?! Delicious,” he tweeted.

To note, the all-rounder started with a bang in IPL 2022 as he smashed a 14-ball fifty in his first game of the season, against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians to tie the record for the fastest fifty in the history of the league and also took his team to a win. However, the two-time champions KKR had a horrible time in their next five matches and that saw Cummins being dropped from the playing XI.

However, the Men in Purple managed to win their previous match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). To note, KKR have managed to win only four out of ten matches. The Knight Riders have to win their remaining four matches to stand any chance of making it to the playoffs.

The two-time champions will now take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their next group stage match of IPL 2022. The match will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium, Pune on May 7 (Saturday). The Men in Purple will face tough competition against the new entrants LSG.  Meanwhile, the Super Giants have won seven out of ten matches in their debut season and are currently placed second in the points table behind the Gujarat Titans (GT).
