David Warner had a terrific time in the T20I matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, where he smoked two half-centuries and a century against the Islanders, while he scored 48* in one of the 20-over matches against the Green Army to help his team remain unbeaten in the six matches out of which one match got rained out.

Warner hit a brilliant 100* in the first T20I against Lasith Malinga-led team and then hit 60* and 57* in the subsequent matches, confirming that he had bounced back firmly after an absolutely ill-fated outing in Ashes 2019 when he failed to make even 100 runs in five Test matches combined. He along with Virat Kohli of India is rated highly in the current cricket scenario as far as batting skills are considered.

It seems that David Warner’s time in India during IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad has rubbed off his daughters as well. His kids and wife are often seen in the ground supporting the left-handed opener both in Australia and abroad, with both his daughters wearing SRH jerseys with Warner’s name and number on the back. However, in a shock to the opener and his wife, one of their daughters doesn’t want to emulate her father in cricket, but wants to follow in footsteps of Indian captain Virat Kohli.

David Warner shared a video of his daughter Indi Rae playing cricket at home and exclaiming that she is Virat Kohli while hitting the ball sweetly with a bat. She prepares to face the ball while chanting “I’m Kohli”. Warner captioned the video, “I’m not sure about this one. Indi wants to be @virat.kohli Caption This??”

While Warner will now be playing in the two-Test series against Pakistan at home, Kohli is enjoying some time off with wife Anushka Sharma after being rested for the T20I series against Bangladesh. He will return to lead the Indian team in the two-Test series which follows against the Tigers, which includes the historic first day-night Test match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata from November 22. The first Test between the two sides will be played from November 14 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
