'I will see you in Australia' - David Warner congratulates T Natarajan for his maiden India call-up
T Natarajan has the credit of bowling the most number of yorkers in IPL 2020.
SRH saw the face of loss when Delhi defeated them in Qualifier 2 to fix their meeting with Mumbai Indians. Though there might be a bit dim atmosphere in the team’s squad, it has certainly been happy for one of their men. T Natarajan has got the maiden call up from India national team after Varun Chakravarthy has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury. His maiden call has come for the upcoming series against Australia on the back of his stellar performance throughout IPL 2020.
His impressive campaign with SRH this year has not gone unnoticed by the selectors in the national team. He picked up 16 wickets in the season with a decent economy of 8.02. In the same line of developments, SRH skipper David Warner was quick enough to congratulate the 29-year-old pacer. In the latest video put up by SRH on their Twitter handle, Warner talked about his experience with the team this year.
He thanked fans and all the support staff that were there for SRH in all the odds. He stated that they will return next year and didn’t forget to make special mention of Natarajan, whom he will meet up next in Australia. “Congratulations Nattu! I will see you n Australia,” Warner said in the video.
David Warner congratulates T Natarajan
Natarajan was set to travel Australia as a backup bowler, but Varun’s injury has created a void, and that has been filled up by him. Becoming one of the breakthrough stars of the season, he stunned some batsmen with his pinpoint Yorkers. His accurate Yorkers impressed David Warner as he got his chance in the team, and now he will be up against the same man on their soil. Warner also labelled Natarajan as ‘find of the season.’
The Aussie opener would definitely be telling his men to beware of left-arm pacer’s action as he got the better of several greats in this season. He also has the credit of bowling most number of yorkers in this season of IPL, which were around 65. They are thrice more than the second-best in this category.
