Match Details:

The 6th game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers, 2019 in Group B will be played between Jersey and Nigeria at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The match starts at 2:10 PM local time (10:10 AM GMT) (3:40 PM IST).

This game will be live on Star Sports 3 in India and live streaming is available on Hotstar.

Preview:

Jersey team made their spot in the qualifiers by finishing as the table-toppers of the Europe Region Qualifiers where they lost only one of their eight matches. However, their confidence was dented following a 0-3 defeat in the 3-match T20 series against Qatar, who are not part of the qualifiers. However, the wins against Singapore and Kenya in the warm-ups do give much-needed boot for them ahead of the main tournament. Jersey will take on Nigeria in their first match of this tournament.

Nigeria could consider themselves lucky to be part of this tournament. Zimbabwe’s suspension meant a wild-card entry was given to the Nigerian team. They made their T20I debut this year during the Africa-Region Qualifier and won two of the three matches there. However, they faced big defeats in the warm-up matches against Bermuda and Namibia respectively this week.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather forecast expects Saturday to be clear and sunny at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. We might not witness any interruption through the rain.

Only once in those five games, the team batting first stood victorious only after posting a huge total of 180. This indicates the sides batting first would target 170+ for winning matches.
