Two teams that haven’t met even once in the World Cup 2019 – India and New Zealand – will face each other in the first semi-final. The scheduled league game between these sides was washed out due to rain even without a ball bowled. The road that they’ve taken to reach this stage is slightly different. Batsmen

The New Zealand skipper scored 362 runs and can be the captain of your side. You can go for Rohit Sharma as the vice-captain of your team while KL Rahul can be the third pick in this category.

All-Rounders

Colin de Grandhomme and James Neesham scored the most runs with the bat from this category. While the former accumulated 143 runs, the latter has scored 176. They’ve also picked two and five wickets respectively. From Team India, Hardik Pandya will be a great choice as he has done really well with the ball. The management has used him as a floater in the line-up and there is every chance that he gets to face a lot of balls.

Bowlers

Mohammed Shami has picked up a stunning 16 wickets in his previous five outings. He has been in great form and is regularly picking up wickets. Thus, he is a no-brainer in your team. Lockie Ferguson has been equally good and has accounted for 13 scalps. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have picked up the same number of wickets and it is largely your personal choice. But considering the form that he is in, Bumrah could be preferred.
