However, his attempt to seal the game with a six on the last delivery of the 49th over saw New Zealand cross the line as Trent Boult took a fine catch near the boundary. Pakistan, on the other hand, beat South Africa to stay alive. After scoring 307, the Proteas could only reach 259/9 which knocked them out of the competition.

However, the cloud coverage at the start of the game will be around 100 percent which can help the fast bowlers. With the passage of time, the cloud coverage will drop down to around 70 percent. The humidity will be in the early 70s for the most part of the game while the temperature will be hovering around 15-19 Degrees Celsius.
