In Pictures: Indian cricketers grace their presence at DeepVeer's grand reception

One of the most adorable couples in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, got married recently at the scenic venue in Italy, the same country where Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot. The ceremony, however, was attended only by the close friends and family after which they threw a reception after coming back to India. On Saturday, in what was the high-profile reception at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, even the Indian cricketers were invited and they obliged to the same by gracing their presence.

Bollywood and Cricket go hand in hand and ever since Anushka has married the Indian captain, the association between the two fraternities, has come ever so close. Moreover, Ranveer’s relationship with most of the Indian cricketers is well known as the actor has also gone to the Stadiums in order to cheer the Men in Blue and has more often than not praised the team for their exceptional performance.

Dhoni, Pandya, Kapil and Sachin attend the ceremony

Amidst the Bollywood celebrities during the event, even the current and former Indian cricketers managed to hog the limelight as they came with their families. MS Dhoni looked dapper in the formal attire as he arrived along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni and even the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was also spotted with them. The trio posed for a few clicks with the former Indian skipper bringing his humorous side to the fore after Sakshi moved out of the frame.

Soon, the legends of the game, Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar also arrived with their families in what seemed like a dress code as the duo looked dashing in the Black suit. Sachin came with his wife Anjali and the upcoming star Arjun Tendulkar who has just hit the straps in the U19 Indian team. Kapil Dev also came with his wife Romi Bhatia and posed for the paparazzi before attending the reception.

With the Indian team touring Australia, most of them might have missed the event as Ranveer would’ve definitely invited them for the special occasion of his life.
