Indian cricketer Manish Pandey is currently having a complicated time in his career as his stance with the Indian national team is a pretty confusing one. His recent run in big events like the IPL was mediocre and that didn’t help his cause. But with a staggering display in the first few games of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament, he is trying to get back in contention.

All the teams in the Indian domestic circuit had a break today from the annual T20 tournament and it probably was the best time for them to learn about the Indian Air Force’s surgical attack on the Jaish-e-Mohammad’s biggest training camp. This news came in as a huge relief for millions of Indians after watching over 40 CRPF jawans sacrifice their lives in Pulwama on February 14th.

Manish Pandey, who also comes from an Army family, shared an emotional message with the fans on Tuesday. He bowed down to the sacrifices the Indian armed forces make to keep the Indian citizens safe every day and expressed his gratitude for the Indian armed forces after their heroic act on Tuesday. He also hoped that terrorism will be wiped out very soon.

“I come from an Army family & I know what kind of sacrifices our armed forces make to keep us safe. Today is one of those days when I feel incredibly proud of our armed forces… And I hope that terrorism is wiped out & peace prevails. Kudos.”

Here’s what he tweeted

Manish Pandey and Karnataka on a roll

Karnataka and its skipper Manish Pandey are having a fantastic time in the annual domestic T20 tournament, the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. After scoring a brilliant hundred against Arunachal Pradesh, where he scored 111 runs in just 46 balls, he piled up a quickfire 33 in 13 balls Mizoram on Monday.

Karun Nair and Shreyas Gopal have been doing a fantastic job as well for the South-Indian side as they won all of their first four Group B games, keeping them at the top of the table. After narrowly missing out in the semifinals in Ranji Trophy, Karnataka are eager to add another trophy to their cabinet.
