Kolhi still leads the charts in T20 rankings
In the latest T20I Rankings, India has dropped one more place as World Champions West Indies overtook them to secure the fourth place in the rankings. New Zealand retained their place at the number one spot, followed by England and Pakistan in the second and third position. India is placed fifth in the table. Bangladesh languishes at the bottom of the table at the tenth spot as Afghanistan are placed ahead of them in the ninth spot.
In the players rating, Evin Lewis, who played a breathtaking knock in the match against India yesterday, galloped to secure the fourth place in the table. Virat Kohli still leads the chart as he holds the number 1 position. The one-off T20I match yesterday at Jamaica, helped West Indian’s cause to take a lead over India. Before the match yesterday, the Windies were four points behind the visitors. After losing the match, the Virat Kohli-led side conceded three points and as a result, the home side are now at number 4 position with 117 points, while the men in blue dropped one place and now have 115 points.
Virat Kohli now has a whopping 17-point lead over Aaron Finch who holds the second position. Kane Williamson rounds of the Top 3 position of the table. Coming to the bowlers, Imad Wasim still is on top of the table as he holds the number one position. Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for the match yesterday, still holds the second position. The only other Indian bowler in Top 10 is Ravichandran Ashwin, who lost points after conceding 39 in his quota of four overs yesterday. South Africa’s Imran Tahir holds the third position while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan holds the number four position.
