India to play the first T20I of Paytm India vs England series on 12th March - Watch Live on YuppTV

After a spectacular victory in the Test series against England, India is all set to play 5 T20Is in the Paytm India vs England Series 2021 from the 12th of March to the 20th of March 2021. All the T20Is will be played in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on 12th March.

India’s performance in the Test series was nothing short of amazing. The Boys in Blue have not only triumphed in the series with a 3-1 lead but also managed to secure a place in the ICC World Test Championship Final that would take place in June 2021. The triple victory in the tests that arrived after a devastating loss in the first Test match has made it sweeter for the team and the cricket lovers.

India lost the first test match against England in Chennai with a massive difference of 217 runs. The team made it up quite well by securing a victory by 317 runs in the second test. The domination continued in the third and the fourth tests as India achieved a victory by 10 wickets in the third test and by an innings and 25 runs in the fourth. The victory which is nothing short of historical had put India on the top of ICC Test Rankings with 4455 points.

These spectacular victories by the Indian team in the past few test matches have put the team up high on a pedestal of expectations. England is currently the best T20I team in the world and is seated on the top of ICC Men’s T20I rankings. India, however, is right below the England team with a 7-point difference.

While the reputation of the Indian team’s performance in the T20s is highly positive, England too has been amazing in short over format. The Indian team had been unbeaten in 7 series in the past while England had been unbeaten in 8. Both the teams have asserted their dominance in and out of home grounds and are perfectly capable of subverting the other. The fact that both the teams are placed in the first and second positions of the ICC rankings table only adds to the excitement.

Both the teams comprise amazing players that excel at power play in the short over matches.
