India v South Africa 2nd Test day 3 Review: Unrelenting rain washes out the day: Rain played spoilsport yet again in what seems to be a match heading towards a draw. The South Africans will be mighty pleased whilst the Indians feeling hard done.  The third day was called off at 11:30 am and for a second day in a row, not a single ball was bowled. A steady drizzle hadn’t stopped since it began early on day 2. The forecast for Tuesday is not good and it seems highly unlikely that conditions will improve drastically.

Brief scores:

South Africa: 214/10 (de Villiers 85, Ashwin 4/70, Jadeja 4/50)

India: 80/0 (Dhawan 45*, Vijay 28*)
