India will take on Sri Lanka in the 3rd and final Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi which has been a host for many historic moments in Test history as could witness India equalling the world record of nine consecutive Test series wins set by England and Australia. India, who took a 1-0 lead in the series with their joint biggest innings victory in Nagpur, needs to win or draw the final Test to keep their streak intact.

These are the most number of matches India played with 100% win record at home with a particular player in the XI. India won all the four Tests they played at home with Pravin Amre in the XI. Prior to the Kolkata Test, India won all the ten home Tests which included Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the playing XI.
10 – India won ten of the last 11 Test matches they played at the Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kolta. The last time they lost a Test match at this venue was back in 1987 against the Windies. India’s 13 Tests victories at this venue are the 2nd most behind 14 wins in Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
