India vs New Zealand: India's strongest predicted playing XI for T20I series
The BCCI has already named the squad for the white-ball series.
7. Axar Patel
Axar Patel, the left-handed bowling all-rounder, has been selected in the squad and most probably will feature in the first playing 11. He debuted for the Indian T20I side in 2015 and has played a total of 12 games, picking up nine wickets with an economy of 6.88.
This orthodox-spinner is a well-known name in the IPL but was not provided a chance, as there was a better all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja. But now, as his ally Jadeja has been rested for this series, Axar might get a chance to play in the eleven considering his decent performance in the IPL.
