India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match between IND vs SL?
India thrashed Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in the second T20I to secure the series 2-0 with one game to go.
India have been on a roll now with three consecutive T20I series victories since the T20 World Cup 2021. They are set to take on the Sri Lankan side in the 3rd and final game at Dharamsala. The men in blue might be tempted to test their bench strength with the series already done and dusted and a hefty number of changes is expected from the Rohit Sharma led side. Shreyas Iyer has been in the form of his life and is starting to show the quality he can bring into the side.
The Sri Lankan side, on the other hand had, had a better outing in the second game as they managed to post a big score on board. The conditions were tough to defend and a lot of positives had to be taken out of their batting. The pace department looked really good with the likes of Dushmantha Chameera and Lahiru Kumara getting their lengths right with the new ball although they went for runs in the last few overs.

Pitch Report:
The Dharamsala pitch in the second game offered a lot for the seamers in the first few overs but once the ball got a little softer, it became a batting paradise. A score of 184 was chased down with over two overs to spare and it definitely shows that it is a quality wicket to bat on. The skipper winning the toss will be looking to get the opponents to bat first with the conditions improving for batters once the match progresses.

IND vs SL Head to Head
Overall games – 24, India – 16, Sri Lanka – 7, NR – 1
Probable Top Performers
Probable best batter: Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer was brilliant in the second T20I against Sri Lanka and his unbeaten innings of 74 in just 44 balls helped India chase down a stiff target. The right-hander continued from where he left off in the first game and has scored two half-centuries on a trot. The 27-year-old has a lot to offer to the side in terms of his attacking display against the spinners and is pretty good against pace in the powerplay as well.
Probable best bowler: Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi still hasn’t come into the fray against Sri Lanka and is likely to get a game in the final T20I. The leg spinner might not extract much turn from the pitch but his googlies are going to be effective everywhere and he had a brilliant series against West Indies. He is very quick in the air and Sri Lankan batters might struggle taking on the spinner.
