India vs Windies: Mumbai crowd chants Anushka Sharma's name; Virat Kohli reacts
Kohli endured a rare failure with the bat but he made his presence felt in the field with a stunning run-out.
The fourth ODI between India and Windies was a memorable one for the hosts as they managed to register their biggest ODI win at home by 224 runs. They put up a splendid show for the Mumbai crowd and thrashed the opponents who had surprised everyone with their spirited fight until then in the series. Meanwhile, during the match, the crowd was heard chanting Anushka Sharma‘s name to gee up Virat Kohli and the Indian captain was also quick to respond to it.
The incident unfolded in the second innings of the match as India were defending the mammoth total of 377 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to one of the Windies batsmen during the middle-overs as Kohli was fielding at the cover position. With the team in a better position in the game, the crowd was having fun during its stay in the stadium.
Suddenly, they started chanting ‘Anushka, Anushka’ to gain Virat Kohli’s attention who was fielding close to the 22 yards. The cricketer who is known to concentrate hard while on the field, surprisingly and to the delight of the fans, responded to the chants positively with a thumbs up before getting back to the job of leading the team.

Rohit and Rayudu boss the game
As far as the game is concerned, Virat Kohli endured a rare failure with the bat. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu filled up though by hitting stunning centuries as Team India posted a huge total of 377 runs on the board after 50 overs. They were clinical with the ball as well with Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav making the ball talk.
The Men in Blue were exceptional in the field also as they affected a couple of run-outs to send back Shai Hope and Kieran Powell. The Indian skipper made his presence felt on the field with a stunning direct hit to catch the latter short of the crease.
