Match Details:
The 3rd match of the T20I series between India Women and South Africa Women will be played at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.
The match starts at 7:00 PM local time (IST) (1:30 PM GMT). This game will be live on Star Sports. Live Streaming will be available on Hotstar.
Match Preview:
After what turned out to be a damp squib at Surat in the 2nd T20I, the caravan of the South Africa Women tour of India now moves to the 3rd T20I. The visitors would be desperate to get their first points on board and assume parity in the 5-match series. They would also hope to shrug off what was a dismal performance by the batters against the troika of Indian spinners- Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma, and Radha Yadav.
The Indian spinners- led by Deepti Sharma’s 3-8- sent the Proteas batswomen in a tail-spin in the first T20I to help their side defend what was a lowly total of 8-130. For the Proteas to redeem themselves, the senior players in Lizelle Lee, Laura Wolvaardt will have to give more support to Mignon du Preez. Du Preez was the lone batter who looked comfortable against both spin and pace, scoring a nonchalant 43-ball-59 and will once be expected to be the bedrock of their batting unit on Sunday.
Team India won their first game on the back of a captain’s knock from Harmanpreet Kaur [43 off 34 balls] and a superlative performance by their spinners. However, not everything is hunky-dory for the hosts. They would hope that the top-order led by Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma comes good tomorrow.
Weather Condition/Report:
Unfortunately, it is expected to be another rainy day in Surat on Sunday. According to the weather forecast, there is an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout the day. The humidity is expected to be around 84 percent while the temperatures will hover around 26-29 degrees.
Pitch Condition/Report:
As we found out in the first game, the spinners have plenty in the wicket to exploit and the Indian spinners- Deepti Sharma, Poonam Yadav, and Radha Yadav- wreaked havoc. However, with the pitch taking so much rain in the past few days, the fast bowlers might come in handy on Sunday, if rain permits, of-course!

Top Picks:
India Women: It is rare that India top-order misses out on cashing the starts they’ve got. It is exactly what happened in the 1st T20I. Both Smriti Mandhana [21] and Jemimah Rodrigues [19] got off to starts before they squandered it away.
With India not boasting a strong lower-middle-order, the onus will be on their top-4: Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Harmanpreet Kaur- to spearhead the batting unit. The bowling will, as usual, be led by the troika of their spinners.
South Africa Women: Lizelle Lee [16] looked in pristine touch in the first game. In the absence of Dan Van Niekerk, the onus will be on Lee to spearhead the batting unit and provide a base from which the likes of Sune Luus and Mignon du Preez can forward in the middle-overs. The bowling unit will be led by Shabnim Ismail [3-26] and Nadine de Klerk [2-10].

Expert Advice:
Since the rain is expected to have a say, it is expected to be a rain-curtailed encounter. Hence picking more top-order batswomen could reap you great benefits.
Probable Winners:
5-1: Considering India’s record against the Proteas and their recent form, the Women in Blue will start as favorites.
