Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the 4000 run mark against Pakistan in 1997 in his 109th innings in Sharjah. India played Pakistan in Akai Singer Champions Trophy and made 239 runs batting first. Sidhu made 54 runs and passed the 4000 runs during the innings. India lost the match by 4 wickets. One of the most exciting players, Sidhu transformed himself after he was dubbed the stroke less wonder in his debut in 1983.
