In a complaint registered with the Ashok Nagar police on 27th September, the woman had alleged that she was in Mishra’s room on 25th September when he walked in.
An FIR had been filed against Mishra under the Indian Penal Code section 232 (voluntarily causing hurt) and IPC section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means). The Bengaluru police had summoned the spinner and ordered him to appear before the investigating officer within seven days.
Report have said that the alleged victim knows Mishra for the last 3 years and had gone to meet him.
