23. Hardik Pandya- Rs 50 lakhs
All-rounder Hardik Pandya has had a dream run this season so far. He scored a hundred in his maiden Test series and was the man of the series against Australia in the ODI series. Tagged as the next greatest all-rounder for India after Indian legend Kapil Dev, Pandya is taking giant steps towards the future. If he continues to play in this manner then a jump into the Grade B contract isn’t too far.
24. Ashish Nehra- Rs 50 lakhs
At 38, Ashish Nehra is the oldest Indian cricketer in the BCCI’s contracted list of players. Nehra was recently recalled for the T20I series against Australia and hence made a comeback from yet another injury. The pace has now decided to call it time on his professional cricketing career with the 1st T20I against New Zealand at his home ground in New Delhi and this is his last contract with the board as a player.
25. Kedar Jadhav-Rs 50 lakhs
Explosive batsman Kedar Jadhav finds a place in the contracted list of players after a phenomenal season with the bat and the ball. Jadhav was prolific against England earlier this year and has continued to contribute whenever the team requires him. A vital cog in the Indian limited-overs side, Jadhav has the potential and time to make a move up the order in this elite club as he is a utility player and can deliver whatever is asked of him.
