In the last two years, Yuzvendra Chahal has been a prolific wicket-taker for India in ODIs and T20Is. However, in the last few months, he hasn’t gotten a whole of chances in the shortest format with the management blooding in some young guns. After the World Cup, India have taken part in five T20Is and Chahal hasn’t played in a single game.

Same has been the case for tweaker Kuldeep Yadav. Chahal has played 31 T20Is in which he has notched 46 wickets. Though he bowls at an economy of eight, it’s his ability to get wickets at crucial junctures that makes him a useful weapon.

India lack in experience in the bowling area for the series versus Bangladesh and Chahal needs to lead the attack from the front, if he gets an opportunity. The Tigers need to careful, gauging his guile and trajectory.
