'Indira Nagar ka gunda hun main' - Rahul Dravid leaves Virat Kohli in splits with his acting in new ad
During his illustrious playing career, Rahul Dravid rarely lost his cool on the field as he always kept his emotions under check.
There have been very cricketers who have been as aggressive as India skipper Virat Kohli. The batting superstar wears his heart on his sleeves and rarely squanders an opportunity to show his aggressive side. In recent times, there has been hardly any cricketer who has managed to surprise Kohli with his aggression or attitude.
But on Friday, the 32-year-old was finally surprised and the individual who managed to do it is none other than Rahul Dravid. The former India skipper is known for his cool and calm nature. Apart from his skills on the field, Dravid also made a name for himself with his exemplary attitude. He rarely lost his cool on the field as he always kept his emotions under check.
But the legendary batsman has managed to leave everyone including Kohli surprised with his new avatar for a television commercial. Dravid featured in an ad for CRED, a Bangalore-based credit card bill payment platform. In the commercial, Dravid can be seen shouting at others from his car angrily. In one of the scenes, he is also seen saying “Indiranagar ka gunda hun main”.
The ad began with actor Jim Sarbh saying, “When you pay your Credit Cards bills on CRED, you earn CRED coins. Use them to claim cashback and rewards. I know this sounds ridiculous. It is like saying Rahul Dravid has anger issues.” It was followed by Dravid hilariously losing his cool and shouting at others.
A surprised Kohli took to Twitter to give his reaction on Dravid’s new avatar as he tweeted, “Never seen this side of Rahul bhai.”

Kohli’s India teammate and spin spearhead Ravichandran Ashwin had a similar reaction to Dravid’s avatar as he wrote, “Rahul bhai’s strike rate is through the roof ”
