Introducing Imran Tahir's Tamil teacher
Tahir seems to be invested in making his stay with the CSK an easy one.
Chennai Super Kings is one of the most iconic teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Making a comeback in the league this year, they were impressive at the auctions. They studded their side with some experienced T20 players and made some valuable picks. CSK won the IPL twice in eight years and furthermore also won the Champions League T20 twice.
CSK boasts of some top players like MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Shane Watson and many others. They will be looking to make a positive impact in the IPL this year and the fans are eagerly waiting for them to take the field. Chennai team also drafted South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir into their squad this year. Tahir already seems to be excited about being a part of the franchise.
A new teacher in the Proteas team
The South African team is currently playing India in a 6-match ODI series. They are already 3-0 in the series and have been marred by injuries. They will have to win the fourth ODI at all costs to keep the series alive. Moreover, AB de Villiers comeback into the squad could bolster their chances. However, with the Indian team going from strength to strength, it will be interesting to see what impact the Proteas can make in the fourth ODI.
The Indian wrist spinners have been highly successful in the ongoing series and have troubled the Proteas batsmen throughout. They were on the top of the batsmen all the time and are one of the biggest reasons for their downfall in the series. While the Indian wrist spinners tasted great success, the Proteas slower bowlers have made the least impact in the series.
Tahir has only managed to pick one wicket so far in the three matches. However, he seemed to be in a jovial mood ahead of the fourth ODI against India. He shared a picture with South Africa’s team Analyst Prasanna Lara on his Twitter handle. He also wrote ‘Introducing my Tamil Teacher’ along with the tweet. He is already prepping up for his role with the Chennai Super Kings.
