Imran Tahir’s zeal in the tournament has been exceptional in the tournament. The 38-year old has claimed 18 wickets at an economy of 7.85. His best spell of 3-27 came against the Gujarat Lions. His googlies and wrong ones along with his wily deception in the flight have been difficult to negotiate for the batsmen at times.

Rising Pune Supergiant will miss out on the services of these two giants due to national duties, namely Ben Stokes and Imran Tahir, in the all important Playoffs. Imran Tahir’s customary celebrations will be long lasting for many years to come.

Apart from these eleven, there were many sparkling individual performers in the IPL who miss out due to the combination of the XI. Brendon McCullum, Aaron Finch, Kane Willamson, Sunil Narine, Steve Smith, Kieron Pollard, Chris Woakes and many more, have been exceptional throughout the tournament.
