IPL 10: Sreenath Arvind reveals the comeback date of injured RCB trio
RCB team head coach Daniel Vettori had also quipped that he is hoping that the star players get back to fitness as soon as possible.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have been a dented camp in the Indian Premier League this year. They have been severely affected by the injuries and that is not helping their cause. Recently, RCB pacer Sreenath Arvind came up with some news that would be delighting the fans of the Bengaluru franchise. In the last match, the team had missed the services of their top three overseas stars.
AB de Villiers, Tymal Mills and Samuel Badree had to sit out of the fixture due to injuries. Badree has been a phenomenal asset for the team in the tournament and has bowled well in the powerplays. He already has a hat-trick to his name this season. AB de Villiers has also shown how threatening he can be with a couple of blitzkrieg knock. Tymal Mills remains to be the center of attraction for the high hype that is encircling him in T20 cricket.
As per the quotes in Sportskeeda, Sreenath Arvind noted that the injuries to these players are minor ones. Hence, they will be fit before the next fixture for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB will locks horns with the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens this Sunday. “I think it’s minor. They will come back for next match,” quoted Sreenath Arvind.
Earlier, RCB team head coach Daniel Vettori had also quipped that he is hoping that the star players get back to fitness as soon as possible. Another batsman from the camp, Sarfaraz Khan, has been ruled out of the tournament. The team has announced Harpreet Singh as his replacement in the squad.
Meanwhile, Arvind also spoke about the growing role of bowlers in the format of the game. He remarked that very few had given them the chances in the tournament. But, as of now, it is the bowlers who are ruling the roost in the season.
“The tenth edition of IPL was supposed to be batsmen’s paradise everywhere and we as bowlers are used to that. In Bengaluru, change of pace works well and I think the wicket here is behaving well.It all depends on how we bowl and bat that day against any team. That’s what matters,” quoted the pacer.
