Dhoni finishes off in style

The Sunrisers Hyderabad visited the home ground of Rising Pune Supergiant at Pune for the match 24 of the season. David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan hit quick runs in the opening stand. However, the much-needed impetus was provided by Moises Henriques who hit an unbeaten 55 off 28 balls in the first innings. SRH posted 176/3 in their 20 overs. In the run chase, Rahul Tripathi set the tone for the RPS camp with a quick fifty to his name.

However, it was the MS Dhoni-Manoj Tiwary stand that ensured the RPS win. After the loss of the wicket of Ben Stokes in the 17th over, the RPS team still needed 58 runs off 23 balls. MS Dhoni played the role of the finisher as he capped off the win for RPS with an unbeaten 61 off just 34 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. 2 runs was needed off the last ball and it was Dhoni who hit a four to finish things off in style yet again.
