Jaydev Unadkat has had a terrific season last year with the Rising Pune Supergiant. He bowled great spells for the team and also had a terrific slower ball up his sleeve. Unadkat also troubled the best in the business last year and was called into the Indian team on the back of these performances. He picked 24 wickets in 12 games last year ending up as one of the leading wicket-takers.

As a result of these performances, Unadkat grabbed a lot of attraction in the auction this year. He was the costliest Indian player in the auction. But, just like the others on the list, he failed to replicate the success earlier with RR. He only picked 4 wickets in the 7 games this season at an average of 56 and economy rate of over 10. He conceded 224 runs in the 132 balls bowled thus far resulting in few poor performances from the Rajasthan Royals.
