DD have been riddled with one mistake after the other all throughout the tournament and their game against the RCB saw them commit yet another major folly. When faced with a batting-heavy side like the Virat Kohli-led RCB, one cannot afford to play bowlers who’re not performing. However, DD chose to play Harshal Patel and the consequences were disastrous.

Patel got smashed for 51 runs in his quota of 4 overs and only had Sarfaraz Khan’s wicket to show for his efforts. Although Delhi had a fighting total of 181 runs on the board, AB de Villiers and Kohli cleverly targeted Harshal Patel’s bowling and the 18th over, in particular, saw the pacer lose it completely as he conceded 3 wides and ended up giving away 14 runs in the over.
