Featuring yet again on the list are the KXIP, with yet another horrendous error in picking their playing XI against the KKR in a crucial game. Mayank Agarwal has been having a below average season thus far in IPL 2018, with only 120 runs in 11 games and save that relay catch of Ben Stokes. which was completed in beautiful tandem with Manoj Tiwary at the boundary, Agarwal hasn’t contributed much to his team’s cause.

However, the KXIP team management chose to give him another shot and paid heavily for it. KKR set a mammoth total of 246 runs for the Punjab side to chase down and such scores can never be attained if both your top and middle order don’t click. Coming in at number 3, Agarwal was dismissed for a golden duck off the very first ball he faced, taking the hopes of a KXIP win back to the pavilion along with himself.
