IPL 2018: Match 22, DD vs KXIP - Weather Forecast
Delhi are languishing at the bottom of the points table and they need the weather to be clear for the match to happen.
Delhi Daredevils (DD) are finally playing their first game at their home ground at Ferozshah Kotla Stadium and will face Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). It is a huge game for them as they are languishing at the bottom of the table with only 1 win after 5 matches and have to gain some momentum as the tournament is going deep. But their opponent is on a roll and it won’t be easy for the Daredevils to trump them. However, it is important to have a look at the weather conditions in Delhi for the game.
Gautam Gambhir looked distraught after being at the receiving end of an assault for the umpteenth time this season and would want his bowlers to step up big time. They will have the much-needed crowd support backing them for the victory. But KXIP are on a high as they will eye to go to the top of the table and slowly but surely make sure that they are in the playoffs. The team must be surely confident of continuing their winning run against the relatively weaker side.
What about weather in Delhi?
According to Accu Weather, it is extremely hot in Delhi currently and though the temperatures are hovering around 34 Degree Celsius, in reality, it is feeling like it is around 37 Degree Celsius. There was rain with thunderstorms when the IPL started but things are much more clear nowadays. There will be no rain at all in the capital city of India as the cricket fans would hope that the Gayle storm doesn’t arrive against their favourite team. All the matches are important for them now as they will play consecutive matches at home.
There will not be much dew as well and things will only get cooler during the game thereby decreasing the humidity.
Overall Verdict: Sit back and enjoy the action. Ferozshah Kotla Stadium is expected to be jam-packed for this encounter and even the rain gods don’t want to interfere the game.
