The defending champions Mumbai Indians started their IPL campaign with a loss in the first game of the season for the 6th consecutive time. They will now face SRH in their 2nd game in Hyderabad where they won their 3rd IPL title by defeating RPS in the last season’s final. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, cruised to a 9-wicket win in their opening game against Rajasthan Royals. Kane Williamson unsettled the RR batting with his proactive captaincy by using the bowling resources.
