RCB too had a disappointing season this year. They failed to identify the best XI for them and were very pathetic in the early stages of the tournament. Even the late resurgence couldn’t help their fortunes and they will have to wait for one more year to try and lift the cup.

The Royal Challengers bought an unknown commodity in Navdeep Saini this year at the auction. The 25-year-old who has set for himself a base price of INR 20 lakhs was purchased for INR 3 crores, 15 times his base price. However, the RCB management didn’t find him impressive enough to field him in the playing XI. We might see him dropped next year. Murugan Ashwin and Pawan Negi too could be dropped.
