IPL 2018: Rajasthan Royals have 8-7 advantage over Knight Riders

Both Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) produced superior batting performances in their last matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 to outsmart their opponents and pick two crucial points each.

KKR and RR will take on each other at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 18, hoping to keep their good work going. The two former champions have played each other16 times in the IPL between 2008 and 2015 with RR leading 8-7 while one match was abandoned because of rain. Two of RR’s victories came after the matches ended in ties.

The RR remained suspended for the 2016 and 2017 editions and made a comeback this year.

2008:

Game 1: RR won by 45 runs at Sawai Mansingh Stadium

Game 1: RR won in super over after match ended in a tie at Newlands, Cape Town
RR 150/6 in 20 overs; KKR 150/8 in 20 overs. RR scored 18 runs in the super over while KKR managed 15. MoM Yusuf Pathan (RR) 42 off 21 balls.

Game 2: KKR won by 4 wickets at Kingsmead, Durban

2010:

Game 1: RR won by 34 runs at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad
