IPL 2018: Once trailing 0-3, CSK now lead Rajasthan Royals 11-6

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have four points each with the latter having played one game more (four). CSK’s last win came 10 days ago against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) while Royals were thrashed by KKR by 7 wickets at home in their last game on Wednesday, April 18.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team will take on Ajinkya Rahane’s boys at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium Pune on Friday, April 20.

How have these two teams performed against each other till 2015, the last edition they played after serving a two-year suspension to return this year?

RR held an initial advantage over CSK, winning the first three games they played. But then CSK turned out to be the dominant opponent and lead 11-6 in 17 games they have played in eight editions so far.

The two teams had played the final of the inaugural edition in 2008 which RR won.
