IPL 2018: Twitterati request Virat Kohli to do a Rohit Sharma against MI
Anushka is celebrated her birthday today and will be surely present in the stands to cheer her husband cricketer.
Bollywood Diva and the wife of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, is celebrating her birthday on Tuesday. The special occasion has coincided with the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The timing, however, couldn’t be better for the skipper Virat to get his team back on the winning track as the Twitterverse wants him to play a match-winning knock on his wife’s birthday and gift her by winning the game.
The game is extremely important for both the teams as they need to win 6 matches out of the next 7 to qualify for the playoffs. They are languishing at the wrong end of the points table and now need a herculean effort to pull themselves back into the contention in the ongoing edition of the cash-rich T20 league. Though the match will end up with one of them losing which will almost end the season for the other team.
Will Virat gift Anushka the victory?
Virat Kohli has already celebrated the birthday moment with Anushka Sharma and it goes without saying that he must be pumped up to give his best on the field on a special day. He also wished her with a lovely message on social media as the couple looked stunning together. Meanwhile, the fans believe that Virat has to win this game at least for his wife and gift her the victory.
Kohli is a big-match player and he loves the challenge. This is also no less than a challenge for him now that his wife always sits in the stands to support her husband and his team only to see him dejected after losing the match. It remains to be seen if the cricketer will be able to fulfil the wish of his fans and win the game for RCB and his wife by playing a special knock with the bat.
