IPL 2019: Heartbroken CSK fan cries after MS Dhoni's game-changing run-out in the final
The video is going viral on social media.
The Mumbai Indians (MI) clinched the heart-wrenching thriller in Hyderabad against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by winning the IPL title for a record fourth time. The game ebbed and flowed throughout the 40 overs and eventually, Lasith Malinga turned out to be the hero for Mumbai. Apart from that there a lot of game-changing moments on either side and one of them MS Dhoni’s run-out which literally turned the game on its head.
The CSK skipper had walked in at a crucial juncture of the match as they had lost two quick wickets of Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu. With Shane Watson batting well, someone needed to stay in the middle with him. Dhoni started off slowly with the spinners bowling at him. With the pressure piling on, every run was important and in the 13th over, he tried to steal an extra run only for Ishan Kishan to affect a direct hit.
It was an extremely close call and the third umpire Nigel Llong finally made a right call in adjudging MS Dhoni out only to attract the ire of a small child from Tamil Nadu.
Third umpire will commit suicide
The video of the boy crying like anything after MS Dhoni’s run-out is going viral on social media at the moment. In the video, he could be heard lashing out at the third umpire for giving the wrong decision. Many feel that Dhoni wasn’t out and the umpire was wrong in his part. “Third umpire will commit suicide for the wrong decision of the umpire on the ground,” the boy angrily said in Tamil according to Times of India.
Moreover, in the video, it could also be seen that the boy’s mother is convincing him not to cry by saying that it could be match-fixing.
Emotions were shown on the field by the players as well during the thrilling game which was won by Rohit Sharma and his troops to break the hearts of the CSK fans.
