IPL 2019: Match 21, RR vs KKR - Weather forecast | Hourly temperature and chances of rain
Will it rain in Jaipur?
Rajasthan Royals (RR) will have their task cut out when they take on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. With just one win in their opening four games, the misfiring Royals will have to be at their absolute best against a team which has chased down all the totals thrown at it this season. But having said that, one cannot undermine the potential of a team which has the likes of Jos Buttler, Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and others.
Both the teams are entering the contest after beating the beleaguered Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their previous outings. Royals ended their three-match winless run against the RCB earlier this week. The bowlers did extremely well to restrict the opposition to just 158 before the batsmen did their part. Buttler led the show with an impressive fifty before Rahul Tripathi took the side home with a fine cameo.
KKR, on the other hand, had conceded 205 runs against the same opposition. At one stage, it looked like the two-time champions would lose the game when they needed an improbable 66 from the final 24 balls. However, Andre Russell slammed an unbeaten 48 from just 13 deliveries to take the Knight Riders home with 5 balls remaining.
For Royals, the biggest threat will be Russell who has so far slammed 207 runs from just 77 balls. The Windies all-rounder has looked just unstoppable at the moment and the Royals will have to stop him at any cost to have any chance of beating the high-flying visitors. Knight Riders, on the other hand, will be hoping that the other batsmen contribute and the pacers finally fire.
How will be the weather?
The temperature will hover in the 30s when the game will be underway in Jaipur. According to AccuWeather, the temperature will be 35 Degrees Celsius at the start of the game but the mercury will gradually lower down. Towards the end of the game, the temperature will be around 31 Degrees Celsius.
There will be a significant cloud cover during the game which can benefit the bowlers. The cloud cover will range between 40-60% during the game while humidity and dew are unlikely to make much of a difference. There is also no prediction of rain.
