The Mumbai Indians inched closer to sealing a playoffs berth with a huge 46-run win over the table-toppers Chennai Super Kings. Rohit Sharma scored his maiden fifty of this IPL with a 48-ball 67 on yet another typical CSK track. MI scored only 29 runs between 13th and 18th overs but managed to finish with 155/4 in their 20 overs. The visiting team’s bowlers didn’t allow the hosts to get going in the chase as only three players got into the double digits in the side’s total of 109/10.
