The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have not got off to an ideal start in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). They have already lost four matches and are still winless. Though Marcus Stoinis joining the team after the Pakistan series bolstered their batting. However, along with him, Nathan Coulter-Nile was expected to join the team as well. But the fast bowler is yet to link up with the squad.
According to the reports in ESPNCricinfo, Coulter-Nile is expected to join the RCB camp by April 13 when the team will be taking on the Kings XI Punjab in Mohali. Having said that, it is still unknown whether the pacer has returned to Australia from the UAE or is in India. The team needed him right now in the mix with things not going there way but whenever he joins, RCB’s bowling will surely be strengthened.
Nathan Coulter-Nile was expected to be the solution for their bowling woes but the delayed joining of the pacer has made it tough for the RCB now.
Will RCB turn up against KKR?
Meanwhile, the RCB side is gearing up for the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the moment. This is their fifth game of the season and they would be hoping to register their first win. The KKR side is by no means a walkover and they have won two out of the three matches played so far.
Andre Russell is in great form for them and the way the home team is bowling, the all-rounder might just play another key role for the team. Also, there are expected to be quite a few changes in the team as Virat Kohli had hinted after the previous match and Shimron Hetmyer is likely to be left out from the team.
