As the “march” of cricketing carnival shifted to the September-October window owing to the beleaguering pandemic hitting every hook and corner stretching across oceans.  Much to the relief of the eternal fans, BCCI brought back the cricketing action after a 5-month hiatus. Albeit, the T20 extravaganza had to be shifted to the United Arab Emirates amidst the strictest of health protocols put in place.

The sublime stress-buster in the covid-riddled year has come as a savior for the cricket fanatics. From nail-biting double-Super Over climax to outstanding improvised shots lashed out for the maximum, viewers glue their eyes on television sets as the bedazzling theatrics unfold in front of their eyes.

Making IPL 2020 a spectacular one, youngsters and professionals have all risen to the occasion when their team required the most from them. On that note, this article attempts to shed the spotlight on three top-class uncapped cricketers who stamped their authority in the ongoing edition. Thereby, repaying the trust shown by the team management towards them.

Here are 3 Players who are finds of the IPL 2020

1. Devdutt Padikkal

The Karnataka-based player Devdutt Padikkal has been one of the biggest revelations in the ongoing IPL season. Royal Challengers Bangalore outsmarted other franchises as they invested on the Indian uncapped player at his base price of INR 20 Lacks in the 2019 IPL auction. To everyone’s surprise, the 20-year-old has emphatically paid rich dividends to the underwriting.

True to his potential, the budding talent played his role to perfection as a flamboyant opener for the red-outfit. To the opposition’s dismay, Devdutt has piled up majestic 417 runs in the 12 outings. Without a shade of doubt, the youngster resonates with an optimistic character. Eventually, it has proved to be benefiting the team in the overall-turn-of-events.

Setting up the right foundation stone for the Bangalore-based outfit, Paddikal has a variety of shots under his sleeves making him a complete cricketer. Playing under the guidance of current Indian skipper Virat Kohli, he is bound to get into the groove over a period of time. Thus, Indian cricket appears to be in safe hands as far as the future is concerned.

2. Rahul Tewatia

The prolific-match winner Rahul Tewatia has put an end to all the mounting questions over his performance. Transferred from Delhi Capitals to Rajasthan Royals before the IPL 2020 auction, the 27-year-old has taken the cricketing world by sheer surprise.

Making fans and experts drool over his exploits, the spinner went all guns against Kings XI Punjab. He single-handedly steered the team’s ship in the direction of triumph. Scoring 5 humongous sixes against Sheldon Cottrell, Tewatia had donned the hat of responsibility in style. Of the 12 appearances for the Steven-Smith-led side, the T20 specialist has amassed 227 runs along with 7 crucial breakthroughs.

Hence, he has made the most of the high-octane competition with his own cricketing wits and craft. Moreover, under the guidance of spin king Shane Warne, the Indian uncapped player has got the best opportunity to polish his art. Subsequently, he may break into the national side if he ups his ante over time.

3. Varun Chakravarthy

The architect-turned cricketer has given a beautiful shape to his cricketing design. Kolkata Knight Riders spotted the ruthless talent and got him under the hammer. The TamilNadu-based tweaker can snatch crucial matches from the jaws of defeat.

Boasting several variations under his swanky sleeves, the 29-year-old has a wide array of skills to flummox the top-class batsmen on the other end. Eventually, he has rightly beefed up captain Morgan’s spin bowling department single-handedly. Out of the 11 opportunities handed over to the right-hander, he has bagged 13 significant wickets for the purple and gold outfit.

The orthodox spinner found his name in the T20I squad touring for the much-awaited series against Australia later this year. Therefore, Varun will be leaving his dream if he is named in the playing XI against the mighty Aussie side.
