IPL 2020: 3 players you can opt as multipliers for your Dream11 team for the RR vs DC game
Which players are good options to make C or VC in this match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals?
Delhi Capitals are up against Rajasthan Royals, in what is set to be a mouth-watering contest. Delhi Capitals has had a dream season so far. With 4 wins 5 games, they have looked almost invincible. Different players have stoop up and taken charge of the situation in different matches. They have a great bunch of 12-13 players, who have been used collectively at different venues, with great success. They would be hoping to carry on their juggernaut.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have an extremely unpredictable run this season. They started off with a bang with 2 wins. But ever since they moved out of Sharjah, a ground where their strategies seemed to be working well, they have come up short against the other teams. Both, their batting and bowling seems to be relying too heavily on just a couple of individuals.
While they would want the rest of the team to fire, it is of primary importance for them to put an end to their losing streak, and wouldn’t mind even if it is a result of individual brilliance. Playing at Sharjah once again will bring some confidence in the camp.
Here are 3 players from which you can choose your captain/vice-captain of your Dream11 Fantasy team for RR vs DC game:
1. Jos Buttler (10 credits)
We expected Jos Buttler to come in form against MI in the last game, and he did. You can’t keep players like him out for too long. He scored 70 of just 44 balls, and looked at ease against all MI bowlers. Had it not been for an outstanding catch by Kieron Pollard, he would have surely scored a lot more. Jos, with his form back, could be a revelation in the Sharjah stadium. Therefore, he is perhaps the strongest contender to be your multiplier.
2. Sanju Samson (9.5 credits)
Sanju Samson had a blazing start to this year’s IPL as he ran amok and scored 74 off 32 and 85 off 42 balls in his first 2 games. He was striking the ball cleanly and looked to be in spectacular form. However, in the last 3 matches, due to a combination of bad luck and poor shot selection, Samson has managed just 12 runs. Despite his recent returns not being good, we are picking him, because the match is in Sharjah, and his first two innings were played at same venue. Hence, we are backing Samson to feed of that confidence from the first two games.
3. Shreyas Iyer (9.5 credits)
The Delhi Capitals skipper, Shreyas Iyer, has had an impressive IPL so far. He has scored 181 runs in 5 innings at a strike rate of 144. Like Samson, he has had a great time in Sharjah, and scored 88* of just 38 balls in the only game he played there. Rajasthan’s bowling, apart from Jofra Archer, doesn’t exude much confidence and if Shreyas Iyer takes a liking to the wrist spinners of Rajasthan, we could see some really meaty blows from his bat. Trust the Capitals’ skipper to come good for you.
