IPL 2020: 3 TKR Players who can be picked in KKR team
Brendon McCullum, the head coach of both teams, has quite a few options to choose from.
Khary Pierre
The Kolkata-franchise has had a number of talented spinners in their lineup. But with the performance-level of Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine diminishing by the time, the team is in need of a fresh spin-bowling option. Khary Pierre can be a great value addition to their setup.
The 27-year-old left-arm spinner doesn’t have a lot of experience, but he has been clever with his trajectory. In the 2018 edition of the CPL, he played seven matches and picked up 11 wickets. The tweaker was also TKR’s most frugal bowler with an economy of 5.65.
The spells of bowling didn’t go unnoticed and in November, he made his T20I debut versus India in Kolkata. On spin friendly wickets at the Eden Gardens, Pierre can emerge to be a tough prospect to deal with for the opponent teams.
