IPL 2020: Full Schedule/Fixtures, Timings, Venues of Delhi Capitals (DC)
Delhi Capitals' search for the elusive IPL title begins on the 30th of March.
A change of name worked wonders for the Delhi franchise last season. They changed their name from Delhi Daredevils to Delhi Capitals and they made it to the playoffs for the first time since 2012. They won nine out of their 14 games in the league stages and turned things around really well.
However, Delhi is the only team in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that hasn’t made it to the final even once. They have made it to the playoffs four times, including the 2019 season but have never made it to the final. But they did show signs of getting better last season and they will hope to continue the same this season as well.
In the auction this time, they Shreyas Yer-led side bought as many as eight players to join the 14 that were retained. Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Roy, Chris Woakes, Marcus Stoinis and Alex Carey were some of the big names that were bought by DC in the auction for the 2020 season where they hunt for their maiden IPL title.
