IPL 2020: Team-wise one player who might not get a single game
With several cricketers waiting to grab that opportunity, the chance of getting a game for a few players becomes very tough.
7. Pavan Deshpande (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Pavan Deshpande in the 2018 IPL. The batting allrounder is known for getting some quick runs in the middle overs apart from bowling a bit of spin bowling. The Bangalore franchise is all set to put in their best efforts in order to win their first IPL title. But Deshpande might not get in the process.
The batting department of RCB is highly furnished with Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Aaron Finch at the top order. Devdutt Padikkal and Shivam Dube are the Indian options that will get the chance before the Karnataka lad.
Also with Moeen Ali, Washington Sundar, and Chris Morris in the line-up as all-rounders, chances of Deshpande to get picked become very thin. The rookie player needs to impress the management with his ability in the nets to get an opportunity in the middle. Though with the extreme pressure of not having a single title under their belt, RCB will not look to a tinker the combination.
