Sunrisers Hyderabad had a terrible start to the IPL 2021 when they failed to win more than one game. They have almost exhausted their chance to qualify, but still, have a little bit of hope if they start well in the UAE leg. Having said that, their opening game is against Delhi Capitals, who have won six out of their eight matches. When these two teams clash against each other, fans will have to note how to maximize their fantasy points.

Here are three players you should avoid in your fantasy team for the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals:

1. Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer’s return will make the Delhi Capitals batting look a bit more solid without any doubts. However, it should be noted that the middle order batter has not played any professional cricket since March when he got the shoulder injury, which ruled him out of the first half of the IPL 2021. On top of that, there is skepticism towards his position. Generally, he batted at no. 3 for Delhi, a place which was occupied by Steve Smith in his absence. Now, how Iyer, Smith, and Rishabh Pant will go in the batting order, is something head coach Ricky Ponting would worry about.

2. David Warner

Despite being a batting legend at Sunrisers Hyderabad, no one can deny he has looked out of touch with the bat ever since the start of 2021. Warner’s form at home in international cricket wasn’t good, and given how his body was plagued by injuries, you can’t really blame him. But the hangover of that was clearly carried into the IPL, where he underperformed and was dropped from the XI. Between that and now, he hasn’t played any cricket whatsoever, which might mean he will be a little off-color when he arrives to play for SRH in this match.

3. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey’s style of batting isn’t suited for T20 cricket. It almost seems that he hasn’t developed his game enough to have two or three gears to his innings. This has been a problem for him during almost his entire stint at SRH. In the first half of the season, this was more prevalent. He has been given several batting positions, but whenever he has batted against spin, he has failed to accelerate and get the innings moving along nicely, which has then put pressure on him.
