5. Jason Behrendorff

The tall pacer Behrendorff was a part of the MI team two seasons back but has not been able to get his name big in the IPL. However he his getting better with his game with time.

He played well in the recently concluded BBL as he picked 16 wickets in total. Also the skillset he puts forward,  left arm fast bowler who can swing it both ways, and a good bouncer, is complete and similar to someone like Mitchell Starc.

With bowlers being the winners in the auction, one would have expected him to get a bid but it wasn’t same. But bowlers might get injured in the long season or for workload management he can be in the reckoning.
