IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for KKR vs SRH match
Aakash Chopra feels that it is time for the KKR side to drop their skipper, Eoin Morgan from their playing XI.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 49th match of the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). And, ahead of this encounter, former Indian opening batsman Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal playing XIs of both sides on his YouTube channel.
Chopra feels that it is time for the KKR side to drop their skipper, Eoin Morgan from their playing XI, and added that there is no shame in dropping a captain. Chopra feels that apart from his failure with the bat, Morgan has also not made ‘great’ decisions as the captain.
Chopra added that Shakib Al Hasan should replace Morgan in the lineup. The 43-year-old also opined that Ben Cutting should replace Tim Siefert in the playing XI. Chopra also stated that KKR has the players and the attitude to get the job done.

Aakash Chopra stated that he wants to see Bhuvneshwar Kumar doing well with the ball in hand for SRH. Chopra also added that the SRH side could think of giving left-arm seamer Khaleel Ahmed a chance in the playing XI.
The 44-year-old did not suggest any particular change that the ‘Orange Army’ should make for this clash. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are occupying the 4th spot in the IPL points table, and have won 5 out of the 12 matches that they have contested in.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are placed at the last spot, having won a meager 2 out of the 11 matches that they have played in. Both sides will enter this contest on the back of a loss in their previous outing.
