IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for RCB vs PBKS match

The 48th match of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will see the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side taking on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) outfit. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) outfit is currently occupying the 3rd spot in the IPL points table and has emerged triumphant in 7 out of the 11 matches that it has played.

On the other hand, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) are placed at the 5th spot, having won 5 out of their 12 rubbers. Both Bangalore and Punjab will enter this match on the back of victories in their respective previous matches.

And, cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal playing XIs of both sides for this clash. Chopra feels that maybe the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side might think of playing Wanindu Hasaranga for this match as the pitch at Sharjah might assist spin. Chopra added that while this is just a thought, the Bangalore side is likely to field the same playing XI from their previous match.

Aakash Chopra stated that the Punjab Kings (PBKS) are doing a brilliant job, and they have entertained people with the style of cricket they have played in the tournament. Chopra wants both Aiden Markram and Deepak Hooda to roll their arms over, especially when a left-hander is on strike.

Chopra is of the opinion that the KL Rahul-led side can field the same playing XI from their previous match. The 44-year-old concluded by stating that Rahul has been playing well, and he should continue playing the way he does.
