Preview

Royal Challengers Bangalore are set to lock horns with Delhi Capitals in Match No.56 of the 2021 Indian Premier League on Friday, October 8 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Capitals, led by Rishabh Pant, have already sealed their spot in the top two with a net run rate of 0.526.

Since the upcoming game won’t hold any significance from the tournament’s point of view, DC may try out a few new players. In their previous game, they won by three wickets against the Chennai Super Kings. The Challengers, on the other hand, have already made their way through to the playoffs.

RCB will be going into the game on the back of a four-run defeat at the hands of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, Virat Kohli and Co. has incentives to look forward to from their final league game. If they beat the Capitals by a fair distance, they could even topple the Super Kings to second.
