IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians' luxury-loaded team room comprises theater, gaming room and auditorium

The Mumbai Indians touched down in the United Arab Emirates on August 13 and have completed their mandatory six-day hotel quarantine ahead of the second leg of the Indian Premier League 2021, which gets underway from September 19. Staying currently in the exotic The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, the team has started preparing and training inside a bio-secure environment as the tournament resumption is less than a month away. Meanwhile, the players and their families are enjoying and having a good time in the posh Abu Dhabi facility, which has plenty of luxurious amenities.
The eight-floor hotel comprises 312 rooms, 64 suites and 14 meeting rooms, with the price of stay a touch over INR 25,000 per day. Other amenities of the resort include Iridium Spa, Luxury indoor lap pool, The St. Regis Athletic Club, Outdoor pools, Private Abu Dhabi beach, Unique Meeting & Event Space, Seaside dining.
Further, as per a report in the Insidesports, the Mumbai Indians team room boasts a mini theatre with comfortable sofas for players to rest. The team features a wall of pictures showcasing some of the greatest moments in the franchise history over the years, while there is also a performing stage with a full set of musical instruments, including guitars and drums. The team room also has a kids play area where the players and their wives can hang out with their children. The area also has a pool table and gaming area, so players can cool down together and start afresh every day.
IPL to resume with CSK-MI clash on September 19
The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League was suspended midway through after a spate of Covid-19 cases emerged inside the bio-secure environment. The second leg is set to resume with a clash between the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on 19th September.
As per the new schedule, the Dubai International Stadium will host 13 of the remaining 31 games including the first qualifier and the final, while Sharjah will have 10 fixtures including the Eliminator and the second qualifier. The remaining fixtures will be played in Abu Dhabi.
